Yam! Interview - Translation (October '06)
Yam: Hello you five! It's good to see you! Where is Kimberly?
Melody: She had a little problem with her stomache. An illness, I can't say more, it's private. But I can tell you that she's NOT pregnat (laughs). The doctor forbid her to fly long-haul flights, that's why she wasn't in France, Spain and here in Germany. But she's getting better.
Yam: Okay, all-clear! You know that there are some rumours, because you were, as in "Wetten, dass..?", only five - are the Pussycat Dolls going to break up?
Carmit: Actually, the calendar of the Pussycat Dolls is full. So it's more important, that Kimberly gets better. We don't care about rumours. We must shoot our next video soon, and then we are going on tour. Until that Kim has to be fit.
Yam: Break-up rumours came up, because you talked about solo careers. Melody, you are the next one after Nicole to start a solo career?
Melody: Once I said one sentence about this issue, and now it's a big deal! It's a fact that we all are going to do something that has nothing to do with the Pussycat Dolls. But it doesn't mean the end of the Pussycat Dolls! I'm just a singer, who wants to have her own album. But the Dolls are my home!
Carmit: I also want to act and produce. Therefore nobody has to say: "Hey, then she wants to leave the Pussycat Dolls..."
Yam: Sometimes it sounds like that...
Jessica: No worries, we are and stay an intact family!
Ashley: We are like sisters! We give each other hair styling or clothing tips, and we help each other when someone of us is a bit down.
Nicole: To quieten you: We are currently working on our second album! It shall be released as early as possible next year!
Yam: But before that, your solo album is going to be released. How does it sound - different from the Pussycat Dolls?
Nicole: Definitely, there are various elements in it. There's Rock, R&B and wonderful ballads.
Yam: Do the other girls had a chance to listen to it?
Nicole: Yes, that's very important to me! I can trust my girls. They always tell me if I'm good or bad. And they liked it!
